I just reported them to the BBB. They're no longer acknowledging my emails, so I guess I'm calling them tomorrow. Unless I should just wait for the BBB to get to them. What do you all think?

BBB takes about 2-4 weeks to respond to the complaint; I would call, get a case manager. Then in the call, still threaten to call the BBB

Why would the FSA in the UK be interested?

I made a complaint to the BBB. They wanted exact date of purchase. When I went to HP to check my account info, it seems that my login info no longer works. I had to wing it. I know that HP has this info. I could find it but I would have timed out with my complaint to the BBB.
Could this be a coincidence?

I just made an approximation.

I got a confirmation email a few days ago that said the BBB has gotten in contact with HP on my behalf.

Keep in mind that the BBB is not much help since the BBB just sees themselves as an advertizing agency for their members. They don't want to make their members mad because if they loose their members, they loose the membership fees.

If you have bought your laptop on finance, and are still paying for it, as it was sold as faulty
