my hplaptop 9000dv has quit working because hp used lead free soldier on the nidividia chip. nidividia has paid and or authorized hp to repair this defect . my problem is that hp did not notify us but stated that they would do so within a certain time frame. Problem is that they now say that I am past that time frame an after hours of talking with them and given a different scenario from each phone call I paid them to replace the motherboard because I could not come up with any other solution now I wish to recover my expenses since they are double dipping being paid twice for thise once from me an once from nividia! Its a shame that the american govt cant have or doesnt take more control over businesses to help protect the american consumer.
